Brembo Pad Compounds Guide:
RC Carbon Ceramic Race Compound Pads - conceived solely for track use, a true racing pad suited for any type of competition.
The most significant characteristics of this compound are its high friction and consistent efficiency, especially at high disc temperatures. These characteristics ensure superlative, consistent braking for the entire duration of the race and make the braking system much less prone to fade. At low temperatures the efficiency of this compound is limited and consequently, it is not suited for road use. The evolution of the organic compound featuring higher carbon content. This friction material offers longer service life, and good performance in all conditions, heat and cold, wet and dry.
SR Sintered Road / Race - Sintered compound for sport street and moderate track use. The good friction coefficient when hot and above all the stability at high temperatures allow consistent braking performance from the start to the last Sintered compound for sport street and moderate track use. SA/SP - Sintered Road - This is a sintered compound, used for front and or rear application, characterized by excellent efficiency in all conditions of use. It, therefore, represents an ideal alternative to original brake pads, both when cold and when hot. This compound is characterized by low wear which guarantees long life and suitable mileage. Recommended for road use only.
CC Carbon Ceramic (Road) - Represents the evolution of the organic compound with the use of a higher quantity of carbon. High mileage and good performance when hot and cold, dry and wet, characterize this friction material.
93 - Genuine Road - The original replacement part for Brembo Calipers. Selecting these pads you buy exactly the same OE material as used by the motorcycle manufacturer and developed for the particular application, according to the most stringent criteria. Pads can be of sintered or carbon ceramic material.

07YA11SP - SA/SP - Sintered Road This is a sintered compound, these pads are for use in the front and rear depending on the model of the bike. Which is characterized by a consistently high friction coefficient in all conditions of use, both hot and cold, combined with low wear which ensures long life and adequate mileage.

Bedding-in: this is a particularly important procedure for all compounds, and crucial for the RC compound. The pads are bedded in by applying the brakes lightly several times and ending with a firm bite, leaving a pause between one squeeze and the next. This will produce the correct heating and cooling cycle needed to prepare the system. The duration of the bedding-in period depends on the type of compound: generally longer for organic compounds than for sintered.
